For your first visit to Bay Area Baptist Church

What are the services like?
Every service at Bay Area Baptist Church is carefully planned so that you will have a great worship experience. Each service is filled with uplifting music and a helpful Bible message. When you first enter the doors of BABC you will be greeted with a smile from one of our ushers and you will be given information to help direct you and your family to the right classes. Coffee and refreshments are prepared for all adult guests before the 11:00 A.M. service. Children’s classes begin and end at the same time as the adult services, so you will be able to meet up with your family as soon as church is over. During the service an offering will be taken, but we in no way expect you to participate. It is our desire, that as our guest, the service you attend will be a gift to you. If you have any questions or needs during a service an usher will be happy to assist you. Visiting BABC is easy and enjoyable. We can’t wait to see you at one of our exciting services!

Are there classes for my children?
Yes! There are three classes for children during the 10:00 A.M. Sunday School service and one main class during the 11:00 A.M. Worship service. Quality nursery care is available during all services. The three classes at 10:00 A.M. are nursery and toddlers, primary kids (grades 1-3) and junior kids (grades 4-6). During the 11:00 A.M. service children attend Junior Church which is located in one of our largest Sunday School classrooms and is for grades 1-6. Our Sunday program is known as “Kids Land”.

How should I dress?
There is no “dress code” when attending a service at BABC, but many of our members and regular attenders will probably dress in traditional church attire. We want you to feel comfortable when you attend a service, so please feel free to come dressed in a way that is comfortable to you. We are just glad you’re our guest.

Are there other service times?
Yes, we have a Sunday evening service (completely different from Sunday morning) at 6:00 P.M. We also have a Wednesday evening Bible study and kids club at 7:00 P.M. If you can’t make it to a Sunday morning service, we hope you can attend another exciting service.
